Do you wanna have this conversation with me tonight? Do you wanna have this conversation with me void of light? Too much liberation, hesitation, inebriation to focus on you tonight. No, not tonight! Do you wanna have this conversation with me tonight? Can you handle answers that you do not want to hear? Will you turn your back and walk away in tears? So, do you wanna have this conversation with me tonight? No, not tonight! Casio conversations lead to strong hesitations. Strong hesitations lead to bad motivations. So, do you wanna have this conversation with me tonight? Back and forth and for what it’s worth, I’d rather shut up than to make you hurt. So, take a second thought about what you say. Best to leave something for another day. So, do you wanna have this conversation with me tonight? No, not tonight! This ain’t the night…

Fight Scene 01:20
(The tail end of “Casio Conversation” continues but it becomes muffled, as if hearing it through the bedroom door at a party. We hear a couple mid-argument.) MAN: Why the hell would you say that? WOMAN: Its true, isn’t it?! MAN: Why would you bring that up tonight? WOMAN: Its TRUE, isn’t it?! MAN: We’re trying to have a fun night out tonight, remember, and you gotta bring that up?! Right now?! WOMAN: You said “hi” to her! MAN: So what?! I’ve told you, she’s just a friend now....barely that! What? She says “hi” and I’m just supposed to stare at her?! WOMAN: (Angered sound of disapproval) MAN: Christ, I said I was sorry a million times about three months ago! I thought you were past all that! (No response) No?! WOMAN: (Another angered sound of disapproval, a pause, then) I never want to see you again! MAN: For real? WOMAN: (Now on the verge of crying) You don’t care how I feel! MAN: Are you serious?! You know what, fuck it, I’m outta here! Have a nice night. (As he walks toward the door, we hear the woman shout after him) WOMAN: (Crying) No, wait! (The door slams shut and we immediately cut to outside the house. The music is lower and still muffled. We hear brisk walking and the button tones on a cell phone. Through the following conversation we hear the Man walking to his car getting in it and starting it up) MAN: Cisco.....hey, I need to get fucked up........Long story. Can I come over? I’ve got money.......Cool, I’ll be there in 10 minutes. (We hear the beep of the phone hanging up, then a rev, and the car speeding off.)

Well I, I’m getting that feeling in my head once again Letting you get under my nerves, woh, once again Can’t sit still, can’t figure out exactly what I really want Can I trust you? Well fuck it, that’s what I really want I’m heading up north to be with you once again Making my way through and through, woh, once again Deep breaths in, keeping you hidden as my head spins around Is there a problem you’re all I really want We’ll take a ride, woh tonight We’ll take a ride Let’s take a ride, up I-35 Let’s take a ride, I don’t want these memories to survive. No, not tonight What I really want to do with you tonight I wanna forget these memories, I-35’s got what I need, I wanna forget these memories Well I, I sitting here waiting for you, woh, once again Train passes by, it’s a quarter past ten Rear view mirror, side to side, back to the rear view mirror Is there a problem? Damn it, why don’t you just pick I up We’ll take a ride, woh tonight I don’t wanna feel alive tonight Let’s take a ride, up I-35 Let’s take a ride, I don’t want these memories to survive I wanna forget these memories, I-35’s got what I need, I wanna forget these memories Let’s take a ride, I don’t want these memories to survive. No, not tonight.

(We hear the man give a long exhale or sigh) MAN: (Internal) There’s a slight ringing in my ears. I’m light headed...and now...numb. A split second after the effects kick in, I’m overcome with a flash; a question: Am I really here? That feeling quickly goes away as my neck tilts back until it rests on the back of Cisco’s sofa. I can’t move. I don’t want to move. I close my eyes and realize immediately that it’s a good idea as Cisco’s music comes into focus, and consumes every nerve in my brain. (“in my brain” slows, like a record coming to a halt)

And this the world we live in The world is real maybe, this world that gets away I am not here to help you. You need to find your own way, the way that will get you through Please understand me, I want to believe Believe in myself, Believe in you, Believe in this world Things do not make much difference when the world all around you is numb Is it the world that is numb, or is it me? I can’t seem to make the distinction Layin in the floor I see different hues, in another world I see different yous, never mind me that's me with green skin an eyes of a cat I see I'm trapped in this illusion called the earth, but what's it worth? what is home ta us? i feel paranoid at times, what hides beside the corner I swear I never seen it, but I seen, it my skin freezin’ the ocean bleedin’ my heart beatin’, I take it out to pet, it start sweatin’, it looks at me says purple sky's make it feel happy, Casio conversation got my head swanning, So I'm over dosed on numb now I feel painless, yeah who am? I can you spell nameless, I tend to smile in the field of danger, explosives, I wonder why can't no body see this, is this live or am I really dreaming? paint the picture sceneless, comin’ back to myself to only find out I was I was numb, numb Let’s be Numb, Let’s be One, Let’s be Numb, too far gone So now we are here I am not sure if is where we wanted to be Maybe I had something else in mind, now I am not so sure When you are numb, things are not quite what they seem Is it the world that is numb, or is it me? I can’t seem to make the distinction.

The Spotting 01:58
(We hear the sounds of a downtown city street at night. The man is walking) MAN: (Internal) Distinction...distinction... (stops walking) Wait. Where am I? Where am I headed? Okay, I’m on the sidewalk. Downtown. In front of a diner. Ungh. Where was I going? Home? No, not home. She might be there. I just need to start walking. Keep my head down. (walking) When I rounded the corner it was when our eyes first met. Her gaze was like a magical light piercing the night sky that seemed to penetrate my soul to the deepest darkest areas hidden behind my armored shell. Was it the poison still coursing through my veins, or was it just her aura making my head begin to spin again? TRANIMAL: Hey! Hey you! MAN: (Internal) Does she mean me? I look at her. (To Tranimal) Who me?! TRANIMAL: Yeah you, sugar. You look lost honey. Where you headed? MAN: (to Tranimal) uhh… I’m not sure. (Internal) As we began to talk, I noticed her feminine features were over exaggerated to hide a sleek masculine frame. In just a brief moment of clarity, there was definitely something more about her than first meets the eye. Her clothes were enhanced with scaled feathers that made her look like a perched white swan ready to sweep; her head adorned with a woven crown of leaves and feathers. Her face appeared to morph back and forth from an empress swan queen to a human being. Hmm… is this still the drugs? Is this real? She steps forward and whispers in my ear. TRANIMAL: Come on, follow me! I have somewhere very special to take you. MAN: (Internal) She spoke her royal command and I had to obey.
