lyrics

(We hear the sounds of a downtown city street at night. The man is walking)
MAN: (Internal) Distinction...distinction... (stops walking) Wait. Where am I? Where am I headed? Okay, I’m on the sidewalk. Downtown. In front of a diner. Ungh. Where was I going? Home? No, not home. She might be there. I just need to start walking. Keep my head down. (walking) When I rounded the corner it was when our eyes first met. Her gaze was like a magical light piercing the night sky that seemed to penetrate my soul to the deepest darkest areas hidden behind my armored shell. Was it the poison still coursing through my veins, or was it just her aura making my head begin to spin again?
TRANIMAL: Hey! Hey you!
MAN: (Internal) Does she mean me? I look at her. (To Tranimal) Who me?!
TRANIMAL: Yeah you, sugar. You look lost honey. Where you headed?
MAN: (to Tranimal) uhh… I’m not sure. (Internal) As we began to talk, I noticed her feminine features were over exaggerated to hide a sleek masculine frame. In just a brief moment of clarity, there was definitely something more about her than first meets the eye. Her clothes were enhanced with scaled feathers that made her look like a perched white swan ready to sweep; her head adorned with a woven crown of leaves and feathers. Her face appeared to morph back and forth from an empress swan queen to a human being. Hmm… is this still the drugs? Is this real? She steps forward and whispers in my ear.
TRANIMAL: Come on, follow me! I have somewhere very special to take you.
MAN: (Internal) She spoke her royal command and I had to obey.
